Taking place during Games Careers Week, the National Videogame Museum is hosting a Games Careers Fair on Thursday 22 and Friday 23 June.
Visitors to the museum will be able to take advantage of variety of exhibitors, offering advice and activities highlighting the diverse pathways into the industry.
Exhibitors will include Women In Games and Grads in Games, who will provide help and resources to build confidence in developing portfolios, discuss interview techniques and offer advice in CV development. Sheffield United Community College will be on hand to demonstrate the latest career opportunities and BTEC courses available in the fast growing eSports sector. Boneloaf will also be in attendance allowing visitors to QA test their popular multiplayer party game Gang Beasts.
Children and adults alike will also be able to take part in STEAM based drop-in workshops, created and facilitated by students from Sheffield College. Meanwhile NextGen Skills Academy will focus on 2D and 3D animation.
Tickets include entry to the museum ,where you can explore 100+ playable videogames and unique exhibitions.
