The May bank-holiday weekend sees the return of Hallam Art Group to the Botanical Gardens for its annual spring show.
The exhibition will feature more than 150 original paintings by local artists, along with prints and cards. The free event is consistently popular with visitors to the gardens. Almost all of the paintings are for sale. This year, 10% of the profits will go to Prostate Cancer UK. There is also a chance to see some artists demonstrating their craft.
For anyone interested in joining the art group, this is a good opportunity to find-out about membership and the activities offered by the group.
The exhibition will be in the Dorothy Fox Education Centre, by the Thompson Road Entrance to Sheffield Botanical Gardens.
