Although High Vis are a UK hardcore band, they take just as much from the sounds of the Stone Roses, Britpop and Joy Division as they do from the more aggressive side of the musical spectrum.
Formed in 2016 from the ashes of other UK hardcore bands, they play aggressive, gripping, artful punk that keeps the intensity and passion of hardcore, whilst utilising the textures, layers and moods more commonly associated with post-punk.
Their second album, Blending, was given five stars by the Skinny, who described it as “a record that is simultaneously angry and euphoric.”
