A 90-minute guided walk from west to east of the city centre with Mark Hutchinson from Journey to Justice, discussing the social and political impact that race, class and protest have had on Sheffield. With stories of the various anti-slavery societies of the 18th and 19th centuries, fugitive slaves, and visitors to the city including 18th-century African writer and abolitionist Olaudah Equiano, black community and feminist activist Olive Morris, and civil rights activist Malcolm X.
