The Kelham Island and Neepsend Community Alliance (KINCA) are seeking both children and adults who enjoy art to enter an art competition.
They would like you to draw or paint an image of nature, which can be found around Kelham Island and Neepsend. This can include plants, animals, birds, trees, etc.
The winners will have their artwork printed onto a vinyl wrap which will then go on a local bin for the whole community to see.

The competition will be held at the Kelham Island Museum - Sunday 8th September, 12pm-4pm - as part of their Kelham Nature Day.
You can pop in at any time to undertake your artwork, and their team will be available to help give you advice and ideas.
All materials will be provided, and there will be some images of nature available which you may use to help inspire your art.

Alternatively, you could create your artwork at home and then drop off at the museum reception with your name and contact information on - please drop off by Sun 15th Sept.
The winners will be contacted by the end of September.

Sheffield Museums will also be offering family craft activities, 'goit' tours and working with local groups including Sheffield Action on Plastic to publicise how we can all look after our local area, the river, flora and fauna.
