Visit Site Gallery for a weekend of performance art, music and culture, as a prelude to their upcoming exhibition In-Side-Out-Side-In.
On the Friday evening, New Gestures will feature The Conference by Harriet Middleton Baker, bringing together four performers acting as delegates at an annual summit. The delegates perform a duet centred around a keynote-style presentation accompanied by a live cellist. This will be followed by dynamic DJ and musical performances from Sheffield collective Gut Level.
On the Saturday, artist Laura Wilson will present a live script reading of new audio work Gutted, delving into digestive processes, and Hannah Buckley and Hollie Miller will share Blood, Bone, Breath, a dance performance exploring intimacy and the body.
