Normal Bodies is a new book by Sheffield-based writer Sophie Bellamy and artist Cecilia Lizcano López from Chihuahua, Mexico. Join Sophie to celebrate the book's international release.
The Normal Bodies project combines beautiful watercolour portraits with raw, honest captions from the people in the paintings. In this book, you'll find 100 nude paintings and 100 powerful stories. The aim of the project is to show that all bodies are normal, one portrait at a time.
As part of the celebrations, there'll be an exhibition of the 100 original watercolour paintings from the book at Smithfield Studios on the night. There'll also be complimentary drinks on offer and copies of the book available to purchase.
