The folks behind the long-running and ever popular resource that is Sheffield Forum are taking things offline for their new quarterly event series. The first Sheffield Forum: Live is coming to The Mowbray in Neepsend this November, hosting insightful and entertaining talks from four talented locals.
Each event is focussed on bringing stories worth sharing to the Sheffield community. Topics will vary from science to business to art – all explored through personal stories that showcase some of the great stuff that goes on in Sheffield.
Speakers for the first Sheffield Forum: Live in November are:
Eliot Kennedy – a Grammy and Ivor Novello award winning, Golden Globe nominated, music producer and songwriter, who has worked with Take That, Blue, Celine Dion, Bryan Adams, S Club 7, Five, Billie Piper, Mary J. Blige and many others.
Tim Craggs – a single-molecule biophysicist at Craggs Lab, lecturer in Biological Chemistry at the University of Sheffield, founder of Exciting Instruments, and accomplished violinist, who will be talking about the intersections of religion and science.
