Weedhsame will perform their poem Catastrophe/Galiilyo in Somali, with English translation by Daljit Nagra and Martin Orwin. This is a powerful container for Somali displacement, western Europe's response to the refugee crisis, and a hopeful message for refugees. The event will also honour the late Somali poet Gaarriye, feature traditional music and dance and a live link to Hargeysa Cultural Centre in Somaliland.

In collaboration with Poetry Translation Centre 20th birthday celebrations.
