Vocal ensemble the Marian Consort perform music from the 15th century to the present day, bringing to light and championing lesser-known works.
Led by founder and director Rory McCleery, the group is a flexible, intimate ensemble. They regularly feature on BBC Radio 3 and have released 12 recordings to critical acclaim.
For this concert, they'll perform their new programme of early English music for five voices. Featuring delicate, intimate and emotional works by William Byrd, Thomas Tallis, Nathaniel Giles, Philip van Wilder, Clemens non Papa, and Osbert Parsley.
This event will feature a pre-concert talk from Elizabethan music specialist Alexandra Siso and the group's Rory McCleery.
