Titane: a metal highly resistant to heat and corrosion, with high tensile strength alloys.
A mysterious young man is discovered in an airport. He claims his name to be Adrien Legrand, a child who disappeared ten years ago. He is reunited with his father, as a series of gruesome murders have been occurring in the region.
Loaded with graphic horrors and winner of this year's Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival – only the second film directed by a woman to have ever done so – brace yourself for Julia Ducournau's follow-up to her 2016 break-out horror hit Raw. One of the most tense and shocking films of the year.
The screening on 10 December is a special preview of Titane as part of the Showroom's French Film Festival, with an introduction from French cinema specialist Professor Julia Dobson.
