Join Sheffield Theatres this summer for Together Too: two days of activity supporting creative projects from local community groups.
Following the success of Together in the City in 2022, a number of community engagement projects have been developing different art forms. They've worked towards the aim of concluding with a sharing and celebration event on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 July in and around the Tanya Moiseiwitsch Playhouse at the Crucible.
Through exhibitions, installations and workshops, Together Too will be a celebratory community takeover.
All events are drop-in and free to attend.
Friday 28 July
1–8:30pm
Friday will explore Stories of the City. There'll be creative activities for adults, including presentations from community theatre companies, writers’ groups and choirs, and stand-up comedy.
Saturday 29 July
10am–9pm
Saturday will be a family-friendly takeover around the theme of City of Dreams. Join in creative workshops including building your own city of dreams, paper craft, baton-making, live music, drag and more. A programme of performance will run in the Playhouse including dance, theatre, film, new writing and a fantasy costume catwalk.
