Captain Avery & the Cosmic Triceratops of Intergalactic Peace win the prize for the longest band name of the weekend. According to their bio they formed in a dive bar on a newborn sun in the Tarantula Helix Nebula many 1000s of years ago – now they’re headlining the Washington on Tramlines Sunday. Their sound is inspired by afrobeat, high-life, disco, tropical funk and psychedelia.
