To celebrate the release of Wes Anderson’s 12th feature film, The Phoenician Scheme, Showroom Cinema will be playing a full retrospective of the director’s cinematic works across two all-day events on 4 and 18 May.
Wes Anderson has become one of the 21st century’s most-beloved auteurs, having broken out in the 1990s with acclaimed independent features Bottle Rocket (1996) and Rushmore (1998), before hitting mainstream success and cult super-stardom with The Royal Tenenbaums (2001) and others.
Since then, Anderson has become one of the world’s most beloved filmmakers with films delighting audiences of all ages.
Showroom Cinema will celebrate the director’s work across three weekends ahead of the release of new film, The Phoenician Scheme. The ‘Westival’ will include two full all-dayers on 4 and 18 May and a special Family Time screening of The Fantastic Mr Fox on the 10 May, open to all ages.
