The annual celebration of local food returns for 2022, taking place on June bank holiday weekend.
From pie and mash to green tea ice cream, jerk chicken to Lebanese flatbreads, Sheffield Food Festival always brings with it an array of meals and snacks that'll satisfy cravings and introduce visitors to a bunch of new tastes and flavours at the same time.
Sheffield Food Festival centres around the Eats, Treats and Beats Festival Village at the Peace Gardens, and stretches into the Winter Gardens, Millennium Square, Town Hall Square and Pinstone Street.
Browse a huge market of produce from independent producers and businesses – expect anything from jams and gin to hot sauce and cook books. Enjoy demos by chefs from some of Sheffield's finest restaurants. Tuck into delicious treats from a massive array of street food stalls, as well as beers from local breweries. Plus discover sustainable, environmental and organic produce and practises in a showcase hosted by the folks at Heeley City Farm.
In the meantime, tease your tastebuds in the run-up to the big weekend with a look at our favourite Sheffield food and drink options in our Where to Go section.
