Join Greentop Circus to experience a range of aerial disciplines such as trapeze and silks, alongside ground based skills like juggling, tightwire and diabolo.
Greentop will be two taster sessions as part of the Sheffield Showcase weekend, one for young people and another for adults.
Sessions will start and end with a warm up/warm down. You'll try beginners' moves in a specially fitted-out circus centre, rotating around the different activities, working at your own pace and within your own ability. There will be one tutor for every six participants, so you'll get plenty of advice and help.
The sessions:
10am–12pm: ages 7–18 – book now
1pm–3pm: ages 18+ – book now
Please wear clothing which covers your skin (including a long-sleeved top), but nothing with zips or studs and no jewellery that may damage the equipment. Also ensure nails are not sharp. If the tutors consider that you are inappropriately dressed for the activity, you may not be allowed to take part.
You may wish to bring water, a notebook, pen and a camera.
