The exhibition brings together new moving image works exploring how neurodivergent young people navigate loneliness, burnout and the complicated pull between the digital and physical worlds.
The works follow a person who is chronically online and chronically ill, exploring their day to day life as someone who yearns to experience the outside world, yet chooses the digital comforts in the perceived safety of their own home.
Babeworld is a disabled and neurodivergent led collective whose practice centres accessibility, care and the voices of marginalised communities. Linking popular culture, online gaming, and lived experience, their work connects with audiences far beyond traditional art spaces.
