Indie Kids

£6–12

Calling all indie-loving families with babies and toddlers: bop on down to the next Indie Kids disco.

Indie Kids is a daytime indie disco for under-fives.

At each event, you can expect two hours of family-friendly indie and alternative for little feet to shuffle to and parents to get nostalgic about.

There's plenty of room for dancefloor showboating and reluctant bopping alike. Those needing a little emotional reboot between tracks can take a seat in the calm of the cinema room.

Ticket prices include balloons, bubbles and kids' snacks.

For kids aged five and under. No more than two children per adult.

June's event at The Greystones is a Glastonbury special, with music from indie and alternative artists who can really make a muddy crowd sing. Iggy Pop! Florence + the Machine! Hot Chip! White Stripes! Hopefully the kids won't actually be muddy, though wellies and sequins are encouraged.

July's event at Picture House Social is a Summer Bop with plenty of joy-filled indie anthems old and new to bring the sunshine. Best of all there's no sunscreen required: it's in a basement! Playing Metronomy, Beach Boys, The Undertones, Pretenders, Bloc Party, The Smiths, maybe even Don Henley if you're lucky.
